Madonna is still being provocative. The 47-year-old singer’s original video for “Sorry” was apparently too much for TV.

In the original video, Madonna makes an obscene gesture at the camera. A toned-down version was edited for TV, but the “director’s cut” can be seen at production designer Marco Puig’s Web site.

“I guess it was too vulgar for general audiences,” says a source. “Besides, it is a rather unseemly gesture for a mother of two who, when she’s not making obscene gestures, is singing the praises of Kabbalah and writing inspirational children’s books.”

Taking a gamble
Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife is reportedly concerned about his gambling habit.

Denise Richards, who split from the “Two and a Half Men” star, has been allowing him to see their daughters only while being supervised, reports The Star.

“Denise says he’s been blasting through $150,000 to $200,000 per week!” a “friend” of Richards tells the tab. “Denise told me that he’s in denial about his problem with gambling. And she’s told him that if he wants to have any relationship with the girls other than sporadic visits, he needs to get help.”

Notes from all over
Kid Rock is a germophobe. “If I’m eating dinner, I get a little freaked out about shaking hands,” the grungy rocker told Blender mag. “I got a little sanitary thing.” He apparently has no such qualms about gulping down prescription drugs. “Ambien is fun,” he is quoted as saying. “I sprinkle that on my cereal, kinda like sugar.”  . . . Daniel Craig, the new James Bond actor, has been accused of being a wimp, but now he has a defender: his dad. “It is all cobblers,” Tim Wroughton-Craig told London’s Sunday Mirror. “Daniel is a hard lad — you wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark street. Is he a wimp? No, I wouldn’t like to call him that to his face. As for the idea he doesn’t like guns — when he was younger he would play with a toy gun like any other boy.”  . . . Liv Tyler refused to diet after having her son Milo in December 2004, and she’s blasting some celeb moms for fibbing about losing those post-pregnancy pounds. “It’s so hard to lose your baby weight!” she told British Cosmo mag. “Everyone makes it look like it just drops off and everyone in magazines is so skinny three weeks later and says ‘Oh, I’m just running around after my kid.’ It’s total [bleep]!”
