Will Britney Spears sue over a broken high chair?

Britney Spears’ baby boy recently fell and bonked his head, but the singer reportedly thinks a high chair might be to blame.

A nanny was taking the seven-month-old tot from his high chair earlier this month when “something snapped,” according to a report in People magazine.

Baby Sean Preston was taken to the hospital, where he was deemed okay, but now Spears is looking into suing the maker of the chair, according to In Touch Weekly. “The chair’s back broke,” a “family insider” explained to the mag. “She’s going to see if there was a fault in the chair.”

Meanwhile, Shar Jackson — the mother of two children by Spears’ hubby, Kevin Federline — reportedly doesn’t have great faith in Spears’ mothering abilities.

“Shar told Kevin that Britney can’t be alone with their kids,” a source told the mag. “Shar said that if Kevin wants to see their kids, he and Britney must do it at a hotel. “She doesn’t know what goes on at their house and there are too many strangers hanging around.”

Love at first byte
Has Charlie Sheen found love online?

The “Two and a Half Men” star — who recently split from wife Denise Richards — has been posting on the Internet dating site MillionaireMatch.com, according to Life & Style weekly.

“He met a woman on the site, and they’re going on a date this week,” an insider told the mag. “They exchanged e-mails, and then he called her. She’s excited. She says they have a lot in common.”

Reps for the site didn't respond to a request for comment, and Sheen's spokesman told The Scoop "I never discuss my client's personal life in a public forum." A source, meanwhile, says that the gal is “much younger” than the 40-year-old Sheen.

Notes from all over
Has the artist formerly known as Prince been linked to a cocaine scandal? Two women arrested in a Brazilian airport and charged with having 20 kilos of cocaine claim that they are back up dancers for the press-shy singer. The artist’s office didn’t return calls for comment.  . . . Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber supposedly have called off a wedding, but now Star magazine is reporting that the two were spotted buying a 5-carat engagement ring at Beverly Hills jeweler Neil Lane. The rock goes for $150,000.  . . . Willem Dafoe says that the resemblance between the V.P. he plays in the flick “American Dreamz” to V.P. Dick Cheney is purely coincidental. “It was an accident. I made a shopping list of what I needed to make my character come to life. I wanted a little belly piece so I could be softer and rounder, a receding hairline to make me look a little older and fatherly, a pair of glasses,” Dafoe told Life magazine. “When we added it all up, I ended up looking like Cheney. It was a little shocking. We must be related.”
