Is K-Fed being replaced?

Britney Spears has hired a male nanny — some have dubbed him a “manny” — to help take care of baby Sean Preston, and the buzz is that her hubby is jealous of the hunky new guy in her life.

The manny, who has been identified in reports as either Perry or Henry, was originally hired as a bodyguard, but lately he’s been taking on the role of “man of the house,” according to In Touch magazine, and has been doing chores that had been done by Federline. He was even spotted buying Spears flowers.

“[Federline] doesn’t like that this guy is taking care of his baby,” an “insider” told the mag. “He feels like Britney is throwing it in his face.”

What’s more, Spears reportedly is redecorating her house, ditching Federline’s beloved black leather furniture in favor of a “1950s boudoir” look she favors. “She’s using pink, cream and apricot silk, lace and feathers,” reports the insider. “[Kevin] claims that he can’t think in the house any more and it’s affecting his music. [He] is complaining that the place is ‘some high-school chick's bedroom.’”

Nicole Richie's obsession
Is Nicole Richie having trouble letting go?

The “Simple Life” star broke up with Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein last month, but now there’s a report that she’s calling and text-messaging him as many as twenty times a day.

“It’s to the point where it’s just ridiculous,” a “friend of Nicole’s” told Life & Style Weekly. “She has an addictive personality, and right now she’s obsessed with calling AM.”

Richie’s rep denies the story; but if it’s true, it may not be a one-sided obsession. Goldstein reportedly always answers the calls and messages, and even told one pal, “Knowing us, we could end up back together next month!”

Notes from all over
Natalie Portman has told Jake Gyllenhaal to clean up his act. The clean-cut star of “V for Vendetta” has been dating the “Brokeback Mountain” star, and reportedly wants her hunk to be a tad more tidy. “Natalie is neat as a pin, and Jake tends toward the slovenly,” a “friend” of Portman tells Star magazine. “Natalie told me one of the biggest impressions she had of Jake was his clothes were covered with hair from his dogs, Atticus and Boo Radley!”  . . .Janeane Garofalo and her “Majority Report” radio co-host Sam Seder had a heated argument over her continued promotion of a detoxing program linked to Scientology, that ended with  Seder storming off the set.  . . . Morrissey has hit out at reports that he had an affair with Michael Stipe, the lead singer of R.E.M. “That’s absolute [bleep], absolute [bleep] and I don’t know why people ever said that, do you?” Morrissey told the Times of London. When asked to address the question of whether he’s gay or straight, he replied, “It’s neither of those things. I’m simply myself, which is inexcusable to many people. I’m not trapped by anything.”
