Former rich kid Tori Spelling is economizing.

The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star not only is selling off a bunch of old clothes on eBay, she’s also registered for close to $40,000 worth of baby goodies that she hopes to use to furnish her nursery.

Spelling’s super-wealthy father, producer Aaron Spelling , recently died and the “NoTORIous” star is said to be butting heads with mother Candy about the amount of money she was left in the will — reportedly less than $1 million out of his estimated $300 million fortune.

Now a company that specializes in estate sales is “streamlining Tori’s closet” and has put more than 200 of her designer duds for sale on eBay. Fans have been bidding on Spelling’s black lace Prada cocktail dress, her old Juicy Couture tube dress, and a hot pink Lauren Moffatt blazer that she wore on the first episode of “NoTORIous.”

Spelling is also hoping that friends dig into their pockets to help her furnish her nursery, so she’s registered for pricey goods at Petit Tresor, the swank Los Angeles baby store favored by celebs such as Britney Spears. Spelling has not commented on rumors that she’s pregnant and a spokeswoman for the shop told The Scoop, “we don’t discuss such private matters.”

“She was in with her husband [Dean McDermott], who was very sweet and seemed to be intimately involved with all the decisions,” reports a spy. “They registered for tons of things, including furniture.”

Doherty faces off with tabloid
Meanwhile, Spelling’s former “90210” co-star Shannen Doherty is distraught about a report that she may have had “drastic” plastic surgery.

This weekend, Doherty was shown a tabloid cover story speculating that she had an “extreme makeover,” and the former Hollywood bad girl burst into tears. Doherty was so upset by the report that production of her show “Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty” had to be halted because she was “sobbing uncontrollably,” she says.

“If you didn’t have [plastic surgery] and they’re saying that you did, then it’s embarrassing and humiliating,” Doherty said on “The View,” even offering to be examined by a plastic surgeon who she said would confirm her claim. She also said that she retained a lawyer and was “willing to put as much money behind a lawsuit as humanly possible, just to sort of teach [the tab] a lesson,” but was told by the lawyer that the tab had protected itself legally with careful wording.

Notes from all over
Following their wedding bash at Nikki Beach, Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock brought a van full of friends to Saint Tropez hotspot Club VIP, which is known for its strict dress code and requires guests to wear button-down shirts, long pants, and shoes. Anderson, however, wore a string bikini with “Just Married” written in silver studs across the back, says a source. Men in the wedding party followed suit in flouting the dress code: Kid Rock and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich went shirtless, wearing only jeans; David LaChappelle went shirtless, too, sporting flip-flops and shorts. The only properly dressed guests were Cindy Crawford, Tommy Hilfiger and PETA’s Dan Mathews. The friends swilled lots of champagne before heading back to the yacht of Diana Jenkins — the matchmaker responsible for reuniting Pam and Kid over the July 4 weekend.  . . . Janet Jackson has been telling people she’s going to be doing a duet with Mariah Carey. Carey seems less certain. “To me, it’s a rumor because Jermaine [Dupri, Jackson’s producer] hasn’t called me,” Carey told a Los Angeles radio station, “Ain’t no song, ain’t no duet.”  . . . An Aussie drag queen claims he was with Paris Hilton when she first viewed her infamous sex video. “’There was talk of this Pam and Tommy-style video going around so Paris grabbed her publicist’s laptop. We typed it into Google and sat there and watched it,” former pop wannabe Courtney Act told Australia’s Daily Telegraph. Act said that Hilton had a “shocked, nervous laugh” but that a male pop star who was with them “didn’t know what to do because he wasn’t attuned to female embarrassment like I am. I commented that she looked great in night vision.”
