BURBANK, Calif. — Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush scored the first interview with Lance Bass and his partner Reichen Lehmkuhl together.
The interview took place at The Royal Plantation Resort in Ocho Rios Jamaica, during the Access Hollywood 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament and Jamaican Getaway.
Lance address many questions about his “outing,” the People Magazine article and what is next for him.
“Someone outed you. Who?” Billy asked.
“No one in particular. It just started getting written about ... NY Post’s Page Six picks it up ... it just kind of trickles,” Lance said.
And did Lance’s mom really learn he was gay from reading Page Six?
“Yeah, basically, yeah. It was just a question she had to my sister, actually, was the one who had to tell her,” Lance revealed.
Lance also opened up about how his People Magazine outing came to be.
“They contacted me,” he explained.

And as for the cover with the headline “I’m Gay,” Lance replied that he had no control over that.
“I thought they did a great job with it and they did. It was great. I feel, you know, there’s a great weight lifted off,” Lance added.
Long removed from the days of ’N Sync, Lance is currently working on a book.
“Experience is everything with ’N Sync, all my experience with space travel and Russia and the whole coming out thing. I have a lot to say so I decided to go ahead and start writing it down.”
In addition, he plans on opening a restaurant in Los Angeles and hosting a weekly television countdown show.
