Katie Holmes is getting a fabulous Armani gown for her wedding — and looks like what she’ll be wearing under that gown won’t be too shabby, either.

Tom Cruise’s bride-to-be went to Le Bra Lingerie in West Hollywood and spent more than $3,000 on lacy underthings, more than $1,000 of which was for a “bridal collection” set.

Among the purchases: a Chantilly lace bridal collection, reports a source. Among the goodies: a bra that cost $440, a $340 thong, a garter belt for $220, and silk stockings that went for $95 — for a total of $1,190.

Additionally, Holmes picked out a silk nightgown with a matching robe trimmed with ostrich feathers that set her back $620, a lace bra with Swarovski crystals for $380 and matching thong with crystals for $175, as well as two sets of silk pajamas and matching robes at $425 each.

“They weren’t all white — and they certainly weren’t virginal,” says the source. “But she’s a mom, so I guess that’s appropriate.”

David the diva
David Gest is appearing on a reality show, and some are complaining that Liza Minnelli’s estranged hubby is a major diva.

“I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” is shooting in Australia, but Gest missed two flights from Los Angeles because he refused to fly business class, and insisted on a $13,000 first class ticket — in addition to the almost $200,000 he’s reportedly pocketing for appearing on the show, according to the London Mirror.

Gest also refused to bungee-jump into the jungle camp for the show’s opening episode like everyone else did because he worried that the sudden change in altitude might ruin the anti-aging injections in his face.

Gest, who has been trading lawsuits with Minnelli, told the Mirror that “there’s still a special place in my heart for Liza.” What’s more, Whitney Houston, he said, “is like a sister.”

Notes from all over
The folks at Ain’tItCoolNews.com says that execs from Sony called them on a Sunday and demanded that the site remove a clip of a trailer-in-progress of “Spider-Man 3.” . . . Diddy and Kim Porter are holding a baby shower this weekend, says a source. The couple has announced that they’re expecting twin girls. . . . Michael Jackson is being stalked by an Australian drag queen, according to U.K. reports, which say that the man has been sending Jacko up to 100 letters a day. A source told ContactMusic: “This person has been plaguing his life and has sent some seriously dodgy letters.”
