Is Britney Spears alienating herself from her family?

Britney Spears’ mother is feuding with her troubled daughter, and she has an unlikely ally in the battle: her former son-in-law.

The tension began when Lynne Spears took the "Toxic" singer to rehab in February, according to Life & Style, which reports that the singer told her mom: “Say goodbye, mama, because this is the last time you’ll ever speak to me.”

Lynne Spears hoped to reconcile with her daughter on June 10 when she went to a Beverly Hills party that Britney was also attending. The singer wasn’t aware that her mother would be there, however, and “she froze when she saw Lynne,” an insider told L&S. “Brit was cordial, but you could’ve cut the tension with a knife.”

Now, the only time that Lynne Spears sees her grandchildren is when Kevin Federline brings them to see her — and she keeps siding with her daughter’s estranged husband on issues of custody.

“The Spears family loves Kevin; he lets them see the babies whenever he has them,” an insider told the mag. A “pal” also said, “Brit’s paranoid that her mom and Kevin are working to take the kids away from her.”

Spears has actually contacted a lawyer to cut her mother out of her will, according to L&S. “Lynne is more hurt than anything,” an insider told the mag. “She feels she sacrificed everything for Britney.”

Legend in his own mind
Blake Lewis is a major celeb — in his own mind.

The “American Idol” runner-up was at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on June 7 when he was approached by four elderly ladies who politely asked him if he was the guy from the hit television series, according to the National Enquirer.

Lewis curtly insisted that he wasn’t.

“My, my, young man, you look so much like him,” one  disappointed woman reportedly said.

Although no one else seemed to recognize Lewis, he whipped out his cell phone, called someone, and complained about being mobbed by fans, according to the tab.

Notes from all over
Stavros Niarchos
rushed to the side of his sometimes sweetie Paris Hilton — but he was a tad late. By the time the shipping heir arrived in L.A. from Europe, Hilton was back in the slammer and he had to visit her there, talking to her by phone and even kissing the glass that separated them, reports In Touch Weekly. “He burst into tears as he was led into the visiting area,” says a friend of Niarchos told the mag. “He found it hard to look at Paris because she seemed so frail and gaunt.”  ... Antonio Banderas startled fans at the London premiere of "Shrek the Third" by jumping on the back of co-star Justin Timberlake for a ride.  ... James Marsden is less jealous of John Travolta now that he’s worked with the "Saturday Night Fever" star who dressed in drag for “Hairspray.” “When I was in high school, all the girls wanted to be with him, and I wanted to be him,” Marsden told Marie Claire. “I finally get to work with him, and he’s a woman, which is cool — but now I don’t really want to be him so much.”
