It's tough to be an assistant in Hollywood these days.
Days after the bizarre chase between Lindsay Lohan and her former assistant Tarin Graham that resulted in DUI charges for Lohan, Britney Spears has reportedly fired her own.
Life & Style magazine reports Spears canned assistant Shannon Funk only three weeks after she hired her.
An insider told the magazine, “Britney thought she was talking badly about her. She was very rude and Britney felt she was letting business e-mails fall by the wayside.”

This is the second assistant that Spears has parted ways with in a month. She previously fired her cousin, Alli Sims, though the two have reportedly since reconciled as friends.
