Elisa Zied, RD, is a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association. She is the co-author of “Feed Your Family Right!” and “So What Can I Eat?!” She received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a master of science degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. She lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. Her favorite foods include milk chocolate and tomatoes, and she loves to tap dance, ice skate, bowl, run, and play baseball with her sons. She weighed 30 pounds more in high school and has kept her weight down over the years by eating real food (in small portions of course) and walking everywhere.
