TODAY nutritionist Joy Bauer shares her secret for a tasty treat that won't pack on the pounds.
Chocolate mousse

Serves 4
My fat-free version of the classic French dessert is creamy, decadent and filled with nutrition.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 1/2 cups nonfat whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip Free)
• 1 package of sugar-free, fat-free chocolate pudding mix (e.g., Jell-O brand)
• 1 1/2 cups skim milk, cold
• 1 banana, sliced
• 1 cup blueberries
• 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
DIRECTIONS
1. In a mixing bowl, first pour cold skim milk and add dry chocolate pudding mix. Whip with a wire whisk for 5 minutes. Pudding will thicken.
2. Measure 1 cup nonfat whipped topping and stir into pudding mixture (save remaining ½ cup). Gently whip.
3. Divide into four serving dishes. Add a dollop of nonfat whipped cream and top with fresh fruit.
