Green Beans Italiano

INGREDIENTS

1 (28-oz.) can cut green beans, drained
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. olive oil or light margarine
2 cups fresh tomatoes (OPTIONAL)

DIRECTIONS

Note: 1 ½ tsp. of Italian seasoning may be substituted for the oregano and basil

In a large skillet, sauté onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until onion is tender.  Add drained green beans and tomatoes; heat through.
