INGREDIENTS
• 1 (28-oz.) can cut green beans, drained
• 1/4 cup chopped onion
• 2 tsp. minced garlic
• 1 tsp. dried oregano
• 1/2 tsp. dried basil
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. pepper
• 1 Tbsp. olive oil or light margarine
• 2 cups fresh tomatoes (OPTIONAL)
DIRECTIONS
Note: 1 ½ tsp. of Italian seasoning may be substituted for the oregano and basil
In a large skillet, sauté onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper until onion is tender. Add drained green beans and tomatoes; heat through.
