Lindsay Lohan is having a bad week. First, her ex-boyfriend Riley Giles (whom she met in rehab and spent Thanksgiving with) told Britain’s News of the World that Lohan “quit coke and got hooked on sex with me,” and now Giles is selling photos he took of Lohan while they were together.

On Dec. 26, dozens of magazine editors awoke to an e-mail from a well-known photo agency. The e-mail included several snapshots of Lohan in various states of undress, and boasted that the pics were “personal photos taken by Riley Giles while he was dating Lindsay Lohan.”

“Say what you will about their relationship, but I don’t think she ever imagined he would do this to her,” a source close to Lohan said.

All of Giles’ recent tongue wagging detracts from the fact that Lohan has cleaned up her act considerably. “Lindsay has worked really hard to get clean. She’s finally the ‘old’ Lindsay, and now she’s got to deal with this,” said a pal of Lohan’s.

Lohan and Giles broke off their relationship shortly after Thanksgiving. Since then, Lohan has been spotted out with 24-year-old Spencer Guilbert.

Spears family turns to prayer
Spears family friend Dr. Phil McGraw reports that the Spears family is turning to prayer to get through this difficult time. Moreover, Dr. Phil joins a small, mostly silent minority of health care professionals who feel that Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears have a good parenting example.

“We know the Spears family, particularly the parents,” Dr. Phil told People. “An asset that Britney and Jamie Lynn both have is a great and dedicated mother.” He goes on to say that Lynne has “her feet squarely and solidly on the ground.”

Others close to the Spears family beg to differ. “Jamie Lynn has been Lynne’s project ever since it became clear that Britney wasn’t going to go on supporting her family forever. Britney might have built her that home in Louisiana, but Lynne has to pay for everything else that goes along with it. Managing Jamie Lynn has been her meal ticket,” said one source who’s known the family for years.

Meanwhile, the Spears’ hometown of Kentwood still stands proudly behind the family. The Web site still boasts the tagline, “Wonderful water, woodlands, and wildlife. Britney Spears’ hometown.”

Martha Stewart shows off prison art
Christmas Day programming can be tricky for many shows, but Martha Stewart has a secret weapon most chat hosts lack: prison art. Stewart’s Christmas Day show featured a segment wherein Stewart showed off a clay nativity scene that included baby Jesus, Joseph, Mary and three camels, all handcrafted while she was completed a five-month sentence at the Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia.

“Even though every inmate was only allowed to do one a month, and I was there for five months, I begged because I said I was an expert potter — ceramicist actually — and could I please make the entire nativity scene,” she said. Note to future inmates: Being an expert ceramicist clearly has some perks.
