Jupiter Hotel, from $59 per night
The new and stylish Jupiter Hotel, located in the Hawthorne District on the east side of the Willamette River, is offering a special After Midnight room-rate discount for those that check in, well, after midnight. The rooms are air-conditioned, have wireless Internet, and come equipped with staples such as cable TV, clock radios, and hair dryers. The Jupiter is next door to Doug Fir, a restaurant, lounge, and live-music venue that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 4 a.m. Locally owned coffee shops, boutiques, and antique stores line Hawthorne Boulevard. The Lloyd Center—one of the largest malls in Oregon—and Pioneer Courthouse Square are nearby. Rates start from $59 per room per night.

Hotel Lucia, from $179 per night
The Eat, Sleep, and Be Parked package at Hotel Lucia includes a one-night stay, a $30 food and beverage voucher for the Bo Restobar or Typhoon on-site restaurants, and unlimited in-and-out valet parking. The boutique-style 128-room downtown hotel sits on the corner of Broadway and Stark streets, close to major Portland attractions. The hotel showcases a permanent exhibit of black-and-white photography by local artist David Kennerly. The Heathman Hotel, from $229 per night
