Why I Love Today
More from Erin Griffin - Menifee, CA
...and was never home in the mornings. I didn't realize I was hooked until after my daughter was born and I was diagnosed with postpartum depression. My mornings were very difficult and I had a hard time just "keeping it together". I was so used to working and finding my selfworth in my work that I just couldn't figure out how motherhood was going to take its place. I found myself drawn to the Today Show each morning as it allowed me to be lifted out of the "fog" I seemed to be trapped in. These days my daughter is 9 months old, the depression is a thing of the past, but I tune in to the Today Show on a regular basis for news, the recipes (I am NOT a good cook), and for the anchors who seems to have become like distant family. Thank you for producing a wonderful show and for the variety in your segments that keeps me interested. I feel more educated, I've received compliments on my cooking, my health is better and my daughter is well cared for due to your hard work. Thanks again!!!
