Once again, rumors of wedding bells surround celebrity sweeties Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. Despite previous denials, OK! magazine reports the couple is ready to take the plunge and plan to make their engagement official soon.

“This is a very serious relationship,” said a friend of the “Legally Blonde” star. “But Reese is very conservative and traditional. I'm sure she doesn't want her kids to see her 'living in sin.'”

Another Reese insider assured there’s no chance of that. “They've been talking marriage for a while. They'll be formally engaged any day now. They want to spend the rest of their lives together.”

A rep for Reese had no comment on the latest nuptial news. When similar reports surfaced in January, the actress’s rep went on record saying, “It's absolutely false. There's not one ounce of truth to it.”

Thanks to his famous refusal to wear deodorant, Matthew McConaughey landed a gift he doesn’t want but just may need. According to All Headline News, the makers of Axe sent the “Fool’s Gold” star a year’s supply of their body spray and even threw in some unsolicited relationship advice.

“We know that you already have a stunning girl in Camila Alves,” the company wrote in an open letter to the actor. “But in a survey we recently conducted, nearly nine out of 10 girls (89 percent) told us that they would turn down a guy because he smelled bad - no matter how in-shape or successful he is."

In the off chance that Matthew’s natural scent won’t keep his pregnant girlfriend by his side, the company suggests pocket-packs of deo will do the trick. “We read that you 'never use deodorant' and we sure want you to keep Camila around, so we've enclosed a one year supply of the new AXE Bullet, the first pocket-sized deodorant body spray for guys. We know that you're always on-the-go and like to travel light, so this handy little gadget should fit perfectly into your active lifestyle!”

Dish on the fly
If things don’t work out between Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, Oprah Winfrey has a backup plan for the former “Friends” star. “Oprah says the love of her pets has fulfilled her in a way that has never made her miss getting married or having children," a close source told the National Enquirer. But Jennifer wants more than her pooch pals can provide. “Her dogs give her a lot of comfort and peace of mind, but Jen says relying on them for total emotional support is like being one of those crazy old cat ladies!” … When romance rumors involving Shia LaBeouf and Rihanna hit the headlines, the “Transformers” star took some teasing from his pals. "My friends were like, 'Are you serious, bro? Why didn't you tell me about that?' I was like, 'I really don't know her like that,’” Shia confessed to GQ. “For weeks they were singing that 'Umbrella' song everywhere I walked. And those are my people!”
