New Kids on the Block just got newer.

The reunited boy band has recorded a song with ’80s contemporaries New Edition, People reported.

“It went really smoothly,” producer Nadir “RedOne” Khayat, who co-wrote the track, told People. “Donnie Wahlberg had this idea for a few months, since New Kids had the idea of getting back together, really. (He’s) been looking for that one track for all of them and I think we found it.”

New Edition (minus Bobby Brown) met up with NKOTB in an L.A. studio last week to record. The resulting song, titled “Full Service,” reportedly blends both groups’ specialties.

“It sounds very universal and melodic and has both sides in it: The R&B, which is New Edition and the pop side for New Kids,” RedOne told People. “It’s very uplifting. Right away you start feeling good and every part feels natural to each one of the guys.”

Despite years of pop chart competition, New Edition frontman Ralph Tresvant was quick to downplay feud rumors between the two acts.

“The guys themselves, we have mad love,” he told the mag.

“There were no egos or attitudes. It felt like they’d been friends forever,” RedOne added.

“Full Service,” co-written by RedOne, Walhberg and New York disco singer Lady GaGa, will appear on NKOTB’s as-yet-untitled forthcoming album.

The other members of New Edition appearing on the track are Johnny Gill and Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, who have also performed as trio Bell Biv DeVoe.
