Video: Actors arrested

Access Hollywood

Days after his son Josh’s arrest following a bar brawl in Shreveport, Louisiana, James Brolin opened up to Access Hollywood with his own theory on what really happened that night.

And in fact, the actor offered somewhat of a conspiracy theory on his actor son.

“You know there were people who lived across the street who said there was no fight?” James told Access Hollywood. “How come nobody is suing for being hit? There was no fight.”

Josh Brolin was arrested in Shreveport earlier this month, along with fellow actor Jeffrey Wright, after police were called to break up a fight just after 2 AM outside the Stray Cat bar.

When officers arrived, Brolin and Wright – who were in Louisana filming the presidential biopic “W” – were arrested for allegedly attempting to impede police.

A total of six individuals (including the two actors) were charged with interfering with police, which is a misdemeanor.

But as far as James Brolin is concerned, the alleged scuffle may not have even happened. And if it did, James (who Access caught up with while filming his guest starring role on “Law & Order: SVU”) said the supposed videotape of the incident will likely never see the light of day.

“I would bet that a lot of the videotape… we’ll never see those tapes,” Brolin added.

And while his father is willing to talk about the incident, apparently Josh is not. On Tuesday, Josh hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of “Frozen River.”

However, when asked about the incident, the 40-year-old actor remained mum.

“[I’m] sorry. I’m kind of in a bad predicament right now,” he told reporters on the red carpet.
