If it were up to Jennifer Aniston, the gossip-worthy details of her private life would never make it to print. In an interview with USA Today, the actress voiced her growing frustration with public’s interest in all things Aniston.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” she said. “There’s just this insatiable need… I am honestly getting sick of it, and I feel like telling people, ‘You know what? It’s none of your (expletive) business.’ Seriously, it’s enough.”

With a new film (“Marley & Me”) coming out Dec. 25, the former “Friends” star hopes fans will pay less attention to her personal business “and realize that I have a job, and I’m an actress.”

Besides, as far as Aniston’s concerned, there are more important things to focus on than her on-again, off-again relationship with John Mayer or what she thinks of the latest Brangelina news.

“This is at a time when we should be so inspired and excited with what’s happening with the president,” she told the paper. “It’s a time to be positive and join together. (Actors are) just trying to entertain you, man. Don’t shoot the messenger.”

Miley Cyrus hopes to work with Leibovitz again
The nearly nude shot of Miley Cyrus that graced the pages of Vanity Fair earlier this year prompted apologies from both the “Hannah Montana” star and photographer Annie Leibovitz, but 16-year-old Cyrus now looks back fondly on the photo that stirred so much controversy.

“Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more because that’s more like the style, but the States are really conservative,” Cyrus told Britain’s Daily Record of the bare-but-for-a-blanket picture. “Guess I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer.”

Slideshow: Miley Cyrus Turns out, the teen queen aspires to become a photographer herself, once she hangs up her “Hannah” hat, and the opportunity to work with Leibovitz was bigger than the scandal that followed.

“She was amazing and so talented and her lighting... I would love to work with her again,” Cyrus said before throwing a cautious nod to the controversy by adding, “but I realize I’m just a kid.”

Fran Drescher gets political
Soon-to-be Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hasn’t surrendered her senate seat yet, but actress and New York native Fran Drescher has high hopes of filling it.

“I was thinking I’d take the next four years to lay some groundwork, but I’m throwing my hat in the ring,” New York magazine overheard the former “Nanny” star boast during a party at Le Cirque last week.

According to Drescher, she’s qualified to make the big move to Capitol Hill because she’s “an authentic and honest person” who already has a few political baby steps behind her.

“I’ve just been given the appointment of U.S. diplomat,” Drescher said. “My title is public diplomacy envoy for women’s health issues, and I just got back from a four-country European tour of duty. I believe next I’ll be sent to the Middle East.”

Dish on the fly
Looks like even celebrities are feeling the economic crunch. With the holidays just around the corner, actress Kate Hudson reveals her family is tightening their belts alongside the rest of the country. “I think it’s a really weird time and I think that everyone is feeling it,” the “Fool’s Gold” star said in a quote posted to Digital Spy. Still, Hudson’s confident there will be plenty of presents under the tree. “We’ve always been pretty crafty anyway. We all knit. The girls knit. This year I’m doing these great big knit... well, actually I shouldn’t even talk about it because I can’t say it!” … While “Men in Trees” was canceled earlier this year, star Anne Heche is already working on a new role: ghost whisperer. “Anne recently became friends with this New Age seer who sold her a psychic trip about connecting with ancestors going back to the 15th century,” a friend of the actress told the National Enquirer. “Anne’s held at least four séances with close friends and believes her link to the past will help her pave the way for a smoother future.”
