If you’re planning to celebrate the 135th Kentucky Derby this Saturday, you’ll need to have some refreshments to serve. Bethenny Frankel, author of “Naturally Thin” and star of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City,” offers drink recipes that are big on taste but low in calories.

Recipe: Belmont over ice

Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons vodka
  • 3 tablespoons club soda
  • 1 tablespoon peach schnapps
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
Preparation

Serve on the rocks. Garnish with an orange slice.

Recipe: Black-eyed Susan

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons clear rum
  • 3 tablespoons club soda
  • 1 tablespoon citrus liquor
  • 1 tablespoon pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
Preparation

Serve ingredients on the rocks. Garnish with a lemon.

Recipe: Gin julep

Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons gin
  • 4 tablespoons club soda
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons honey (put in microwave/heat for 10 seconds)
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice (use blender)
Preparation

Serve over crushed ice (use blender).

Recipe: Skinnygirl margarita

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. of clear premium tequila (count 1, 2 while you pour, no need to measure)
  • Tiny splash of orange liquor
  • Juice of 4 fresh lime wedges
  • Splash of Grand Marnier or BOLS Triple Sec
Preparation

Serve on the rocks.

Recipe: American 'virgin'

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. peach juice
  • 2 oz. club soda
  • Splash of orange juice
  • Splash of lemonade
Preparation

Garnish with lemon (to make this a cocktail, just substitute peach vodka for peach juice). Serve on the rocks.
