Randi Evans, 23, is from Orem, Utah, and specializes in jazz. She gained attention from the judges for her tendency to wear unitards. Evans performed in the closing ceremonies at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games. She attends Utah Valley University and majors in elementary education.

Karla Garcia, 23, is from Oxon Hill, Md., but currently lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her specialty is jazz and contemporary; she's performed on Broadway in "Hot Feet," danced in the ensemble of "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" and went on tour with "Wicked." She graduated from New York University and is currently a member of "Boogie Bots Crew."

Caitlin Kinney, 21, is from Annapolis, Md. This contemporary dancer auditioned with her younger sister, who also made it to the Las Vegas round. Caitlin graduated from the Baltimore School of the Arts, has danced at North Carolina Dance Theatre as an apprentice and is an experienced gymnast.

Asuka Kondoh, 25 is from San Francisco but currently lives in Irvine, Calif. This Latin ballroom dancer was the last female dancer chosen for the top 20 and though her partner made it to the Vegas round, he was not selected for the top 20. Kondoh graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and has worked as a Latin ballroom instructor for the last two years.

Janette Manrara, 25, is from Miami and currently lives in Hialeah, Fla. This salsa dancer impressed the judges with her partner work, transitioning from a somersault into splits. Her boyfriend had just broken up with her, so making the top 20 was quite a pick-me-up for this Florida State University student.

Jeanine Mason, 18, is from Miami, but currently lives in Pinecrest, Fla. This contemporary dancer just finished high school and plans to attend UCLA in the fall.

Melissa Sandvig, 29, is from Los Alamitos, Calif. Her specialty is ballet and she's danced with the Milwaukee Ballet Company, L.A. Opera, Long Beach Ballet and Helios Dance Theater.

Paris Torres, 19, is from Issaquah, Wash. Her specialty is contemporary dance and she was a Seattle Storm and Seattle Sonic Jr. dancer from 2000 to 2003. She also is a former Miss Washington Teen pageant winner.

Ashley Valerio, 22, is from Meza, Ariz., and currently lives in North Hollywood, Calif. The fourth time auditioning for the show turned out to be the charm for this contemporary dancer.

Kupono Aweau, 23, is from Honolulu but currently lives in Kailua, Hawaii. The lyrical and contemporary dancer brought a checklist with him to Vegas and the last item on his list was "make the top 20."

Tony Bellissimo, 20, is from Buffalo, N.Y. Of all the contestants, this hip-hop dancer seemed the most surprised to make the top 20. His brother is currently serving in Afghanistan.

Brandon Bryant, 19, is from Miami, but currently lives in Salt Lake City. Judge Mary Murphy cried when he auditioned in Denver, but both Mia Michaels and Lil C seem unconvinced by his talents. He once danced for Madonna at her daughter's birthday party.

Phillip Chbeeb, 20, is from Houston and currently lives in Los Angeles. During Vegas week this popper was able to show the judges his overall love of dance. He's an engineering physics major at Loyola Marymount University and has no formal dance training.

Vitolio Jeune, 26, is from Petionville, Haiti, and currently lives in Miami. His mom died when he was 5-years-old and though his grandmother took him in, for financial reasons, he later went to stay in an orphanage. Later, he became a street dancer to earn extra money. This contemporary dancer is a graduate of Florida's New World School of the Arts.

Evan Kasprzak, 21, is from West Bloomfield, Mich. He and his brother Ryan both made it to the Vegas round and the judges ultimately had to decide between the two of them. Both brothers dance Broadway and Ryan choreographed Evan's routine. Evan attends Illinois Wesleyan University and once danced in a Gregory Hines tribute with Hines' family in the audience.
