   >>> today in a pennsylvania court it was jon versus kate . they are hashing out economic issues but according to the website tmz no settlement was reached. both allege the other took secret withdrawals from a joint bank account . kate filed for spousal and child support last week. and divorce yet to be finalized. to help us sort this out let's bring in courtney hazlett. what happened today in court?

   >> today the judge said, i want this worked out but i want you to go back to arbitration and do whatever it is they tell you to do. which is a little bit confusing because that's what they were told to do in the first place. you see what a great job they did before. they are told it's time to make nice and get it done and go back to arbitration and let's get this all settled.

   >> is there some sort of time frame the judge gave him?

   >> not that i've seen yet. i do believe it's in the best interestses of everybody to get this done quickly. the job -- the judge said let's stop airing the dirty laundry .

   >> talking about the mud slinging, there have been these allegations back and forth. she came out and said he took more than 200,000 out of the shared bank account i use to pay the bills with and he said, no, she took mean out first.

   >> she got a billion dollars.

   >> they both claim they have proof and paper trails.

   >> that shared account is really what the headline is here. that account had allegedly about $231,000 in it p.m. kate said john took 230 out. the judge said if you took money out of that account put it back in and let's start over and make sure this is all done properly. so at the end of the day, yes, they were in front of a judge. did anything earth-shattering happen that would move the needle at all toward resolving this? no. they were told behave yourselves and let's start off.
