Madonna urging Missy Elliott to practice Kabbalah

Madonna has been trying to convert Missy Elliott to Kabbalah, says a source. While making a Gap ad, the two reportedly clashed — a claim they both denied — but apparently after the shoot, Madonna continued her ongoing crusade to convert celebs to the controversial branch of Judaism, which some critics have accused of having cult-like tendencies.

Madonna lectured Elliott, a devout Baptist, on the virtues of Kabbalah, says the insider, and convinced her to meet with Madonna’s spiritual leader from the Kabbalah Centre, who gave her one of those red yarn bracelets that has become the rage among Kabbalah-followers like Britney Spears.

So will we see Missy Elliott chugging Kabbalah water? Her spokeswoman couldn’t be reached for comment.

A feud is brewing between the two, and the “Genie In a Bottle” singer is complaining that the chameleon-haired Pink has been copying her. Aguilera has been telling people that Pink has been ripping off everything from her dressing style to her televised same-sex smooch.

“When has Pink not been copying me?” she complained to London Mirror. “In her fashion and so on, it’s always like ‘Gosh, I just wore that last week.’”

The “Dirrty” singer has no regrets about playing tonsil hockey on air with Madonna. “I would kiss a girl again,” she said. “The Madonna thing was a one-off but girls are nice to kiss, nice and soft.”

Michael Moore continues to have unkind words for his fellow countrymen. Sting has responded by saying he’s considering giving Stewart one of his.
