Video: Snow woman: Lawn art or porn?

Is a naked snow woman too hot for the public?

In the eyes of some Rahway, N.J., neighbors, the nude snow sculpture of Venus de Milo that one family built in their yard was just plain offensive.

Eliza Gonzalez sculpted the snow lady with her daughter, Maria Conneran, 21, and son Jack Shearing, 12, after last week’s snowstorm.

“She was curvaceous, bodacious and bootylicious,” Gonzalez told the U.K.’s Daily Mail. “She had a six-pack!”

But after receiving an anonymous complaint, a Rahway police officer was sent to the home, and reluctantly asked the family to cover up the buff (albeit headless and limbless) bod.

They complied, dressing her in a green bikini top and blue sarong.

“I thought she looked more objectified and sexualized after [we] put the bikini on,” Gonzalez added.

Not all neighbors gave the snow Venus an icy reception.

"I definitely believe people are way too uptight,” said Frank Mazzuca of Woodbridge, N.J., who took his own photos while driving by one day. “If that’s the case, then don’t take your kids to a museum,” he told WNBC-TV.

Conneran agreed.

“Our snow lady looked like marble. It looked like a statue,” she told the Daily Mail. “Are you going to go to the Met and cover up all the statues?”
