    >>> okay, the moment we've all been waiting for. it's time for "today's top dog." and another finalist, jami is our first finalist. this week we'll introduce you to our second round of semi-finalists. bix, 4-year-old florida pooch who pawed his way to piano greatness. we also have jake , a 10-year-old rottweiler with a soft spot for the environment. he helps keep the park in his utah hometown litter-free. and finally, we've got 15-month-old sami, the colorado rescue dog who's made it her mission to help her puppy pals find homes of their own by going to weekly adoption events. somehow she is able to blog about this online.

We asked TODAY viewers to send in videos of their beloved, talented, or amazing dogs — pets who go beyond fetching a ball, rolling over, or shaking hands.

Then we asked you to vote to determine which pooch should make the cut in the second round of the contest — and you picked Jake! The clean, green rottweiler captured 68 percent of the vote.
