LOS ANGELES — Sandra Bullock has kept her head down since her soon-to-be ex-husband’s infidelity scandal broke, but the Internet is a buzz with speculation that she might soon be returning to public life.
The best actress Oscar winner — for her role in “The Blind Side” — is up for several MTV Movie Awards, and E! Online’s Ted Casablanca and John Boone are reporting Bullock is likely to attend the event.
The columnists noted she “is prepping to make return to the red carpet.”
Additionally, they reported that Bullock’s stylist is already securing dresses for the Oscar winner to select from “should she” decide to hit the red carpet.
Bullock is nominated for best female performance, pitting her against “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” star Kristen Stewart, “Avatar’s” Zoe Saldana, “Dear John’s” Amanda Seyfried and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’s” Emma Watson. The show will be hosted by Aziz Ansari from NBC’s “Parks & Recreation.”
Bullock is also up for best comedic performance for “The Proposal.” Her competition in that category includes “The Hangover’s” Zach Galifianakis and Bradley Cooper, Ben Stiller from “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” and her “Proposal” co-star, Ryan Reynolds.
The 2010 MTV Movie Awards will be held June 6 in Los Angeles.
