Our tireless E! News leader has just taken the top spot away from the former American Idol judge on The Hollywood Reporter's fourth annual Reality Power List.

Cowell, who was ranked No. 1 for the last two years, dropped to No. 6 among the 50 folks considered to be making the greatest impact right now in the world of unscripted television.

Among his accomplishments that the trade acknowledges is the fact that Seacrest has overseen all four E! shows surrounding the Kardashian clan.

Speaking of the famous family, matriarch Kris Jenner herself actually rounded out the list at No. 50.

For us, that's a pretty sweet set of bookends.
