A host of stars have hit Twitter to share their sadness and their condolences over the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

The former Apple CEO’s death was confirmed on Wednesday.

Apple posted a photo of the visionary with “Steve Jobs 1955-2011” under his image.

Jobs was 56.
