Janet Jackson’s man is finally coming to her defense over Nipplegate. And it’s no wonder that he had no problem with the breast-baring incident; Jermaine Dupri, who is Jackson’s manager and also is rumored to be her fiancé, says he loves to go to strip clubs and has even taken Jackson there.

“[People] tried to condemn Janet over a real malfunction,” Dupri told the October issue of Vibe magazine, which hits stands next week — although The Scoop has heard  rumors that Dupri actually staged the event. “Somebody like Courtney Love has been coked up, and nobody says nothing. Courtney can p--- onstage, and still be on TV.”

Dupri also denied that the event was a publicity stunt, in the lines of Britney Spears’ “lesbian” kiss with Madonna, and insisted that Jackson is a bigger star than Spears. “[People] really want to believe that Britney and Janet are on the same level,” he said. “Janet has sold millions of records, why would she have to flash a boob to generate record sales?”

He also reveals that his romance with Jackson has not kept him away from strip joints — and insists that Jackson doesn’t have a problem with that habit. “I go to strip clubs to have a good time and break my records, not to [mess] with the girls,” he told the mag. “If the dancers shake to my record 10 times that night, I know I have a hit. I even took Janet to Magic City once, just so she could see where I go.”

President Schwarzenegger?

Did Sylvester Stallone really see into the future?

After Tuesday night’s rousing RNC speech by Arnold Schwarzenegger and yesterday’s talk of a constitutional amendment that would the allow foreign-born citizens to become president, Republicans have been e-mailing one another lines from an 11-year-old Stallone movie that now may be prophetic.

In the 1993 campy sci-fi flick “Demolition Man,” Stallone’s character is brought back from the past and has this conversation with Sandra Bullock’s character:

Sandra Bullock: I have, in fact, perused some newsreels in the Schwarzenegger Library.

Stallone: Hold it. The Schwarzenegger Library?

Bullock: Yes. The Schwarzenegger Presidential Library. Wasn’t he an actor when you...

Stallone: But how? He was President?

Bullock: Yes! Even though he wasn’t born in this country, his popularity at the time caused the 61st Amendment which states...

Stallone: I don’ wanna know. President.

“Isn’t Stallone’s mom psychic?” chortles one source. “Looks like Sly might be giving her a run for her money.”

Notes from all over

Brit singer Robbie Williams used to be hot for Cameron Diaz. But he got over that when he met her. “She looks a bit like Zippy,” Williams writes in his new book, "Feel." (He’s referring to a 1970s British children's show.) “Crush is over. I can get on with the rest of my life.”  . . . Josh Hartnett has no problem with his unibrow. “No one is allowed to touch my eyebrows. Someone once plucked them on the set, and it hurt like hell,” the “Pearl Harbor” hottie said, according to World Entertainment News Network. “You know those little hairs between the brows? I’m cool with them.”   . . . Leonardo DiCaprio and Gisele were charming to the indigenous Indians of Alto Xingu, Brazil during a recent visit there, but the people there weren’t too impressed with the looks of either the model or the big-screen star. “If Gisele were an Indian, she would never find a man to marry. She’s too skinny,” one of the Indians told the web site Glamurama, according to our translator. “And Leo? He would also have troubles finding a girl among the Indians of Alto Xingu. Reason, he’s too white. So much that it looks like he’s sick.”
